Le due specie oggi note di questo genere sono state rinvenute dal mwdwSudafrica all'mweaIndia, nello mweqSri Lanka e in mwegCinacite-ref-salticidae-1-0[1].

Tassonomia

Questo genere è stato rimosso dalla sinonimia con mwgqBianor mwggmwgwPeckham & mwhaPeckham, 1886 da un lavoro di mwhqLogunov del 2001, mwhgmwhwcontra un lavoro di mwiaPrószynski del 1990cite-ref-salticidae-1-1[1].

A dicembre 2010, si compone di due speciecite-ref-salticidae-1-2[1]:

• mwlaModunda aeneiceps mwlgmwlwSimon, 1901 — Sri Lanka, Cina
• mwmqModunda staintoni mwmw(mwnaO. P.-Cambridge, 1872)cite-ref-2[2] — dal Sudafrica all'India
